Q: Should I do anything to prepare for the download?

A: Before you start, we recommend that you create a new directory or folder,
such as "CASINO" to store the software. This can be done using the Windows Explorer (Windows 95/98).

Windows 95/98
Click the 'Start' button, followed by 'Programs'.

Then open Windows Explorer.

Click on the root directory of your hard drive (usually 'C:'), or wherever else you wish to place the new directory.

Select the 'File' menu item. Then click 'New', followed by 'Folder'.

Enter a name for the folder (such as "CASINO")

Q: How do I install the OnlinePlanetCasino software?

A:
1. Quit your browser.
2. Double-click the OnlinePlanetCasino Installer icon.
Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Q: Why is the download taking so long?

A: How long the download takes depends on the speed of your modem and your internet connection.
If you have a slow modem (14.4 KBytes per second or less), there's not much you can do,   other than wait until the internet is a little less busy, generally early morning local time and/or early morning Eastern USA time (EST).

If you have a faster modem and it's still slow, please confirm that the modem is operating
at its maximum speed. You can do this as follows:

Windows 95/98
In the Control Panel, double click on the "Modems" item.

Select the modem you are using, and click on the "Properties" button.

Under the "General" tab, make sure that the "Maximum speed" is set at least as high as the speed of your modem.

Q: What are the recommended and minimum system specifications?

Q: What should I do if my monitor looks fuzzy and the color is not clear?

A: Your monitor (PC screen) is probably not set for the required setting:

  • Place the mouse anywhere on any free space the Desktop but not on an icon.
    Desktop is the screen you see when non of the applications are visible on your screen -
    it should be clouds and blue sky if you haven't changed the default setting.
  • Double click with the right hand mouse button.
  • Go to "properties".
  • Go to "Settings".
  • In "Desktop area" move the arrow until you see "800 X 600 pixels".
  • In "Color palette" choose "high color (16 bit)" or more.
  • Press "OK"
